"Rented the best room in the hotel, massive balcony with a breathtaking view of Vesuvius and the landscape of the volcano. Despite being about a 20 minute drive from the live section of Naples it was worth it. The room was modern, beautifully decorated with a kitchen so cooking was a great option with a near by grocery store with endless options. Employees were great! Again, if you want to spend evenings with family breaking bread and drinking wine while absorbing paradise until the sun sets...

"Villa Durante is a lovely old villa that’s well located for Herculaneum. The room we stayed in was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were able to check in early too. As well as the rooms, there’s a lovely lounge area and breakfast was served there for us. Would definitely stay there again"

"Hotel was really helpful from dislocation from our ship. I’m getting a taxi to the hotel. We arrived early. They looked after our suitcases then they went to the pool. Then they come and found us and told us our rooms are ready to check in so we did the hotel was of a very clean high standard Swimming pool was maintained exceptionally well. "It was a great hotel, right opposite the entrance to Herculaneum. Room was a good size and the beds comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice at breakfast. Also there is a great terrace where you can take your own food and drink and just relax or order from reception and have something brought to you. Theres plenty of good restaurants nearby and the railway station is 10 mins walk away for direct trains to Naples and Sorrento and easy connections to Pompeii. A great value hotel...

"We missed our train and ended up stuck in this area. We found Hotel Marad via Expedia. We were hoping to use the pool but it closed at 6:30. However Dinner was delicious and the waitstaff so nice. Breakfast is included and was a lovely buffet with eggs, breads, yogurt, cereals, cheese, juices, etc. I wish we could stay another day to swim."

"Anyone looking to stay next to the water and great restaurants this is your place. Everything is walking distances. Communication and cleanness is wonderful inside the apartment and in the rooms with clean towels and beds made. Bathroom is cleaned everyday. The only downside is the place is tricky to find and public transportation is difficult and there is a lot of noise from other residents who live here and construction work. Nights are very quiet. Other than that it was a great place to stay...
