"Kauai Inn was everything i could hope for in a property. Although the room was somewhat dated, it was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and personable, always happy to stop what they were doing to help with things, give ideas, or just chat. "This was, unfortunately, one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. On our first night, the fire alarms went off around midnight and continued for nearly an hour. Not once did we receive any communication or even a basic apology from the hotel, which was extremely disappointing. There were also several maintenance issues in our room.
