"I would like to preface this by saying this was a last minute booking as our flight was cancelled twice and we were stranded at the airport with a toddler. The staff was AMAZING. Checked us in was super helpful and nice. We had an issue getting back to the airport and the manager personally woke to at 4 AM and drove us to the airport our literal like savor. "This was our first stay in Kauai and it was definitely memorable. The property was under construction and we had to take three elevators to get to the pool as the main lobby was closed for renovations. Several other things were also closed such as a portion of the pool and the gym. We had an issue with roaches…. "Room was too outdated. Staff were fantastic, Didn’t have to use the hot tub and spa. Parking charges is ridiculously expensive although knew that per booking. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet every day to start our day and had a great time mainly relaxing by the pool and walks on the beach. "

"Completely enjoyed our stay at the Koa’Kea resort. The location is breathtaking, right on the beach. We loved the daily yoga classes to help kickstart our days. We appreciate the smaller scale of the resort, it did not feel overwhelming like a big resort. "Property is a great place and location, unfortunately they made changes that now include a per day parking charge, which was not published at the time the reservation was made. The parking is not anything spectacular as it is and we have stayed here many times before with no charges for this and really no improvements were noted at this time. Maybe this is not a great deal to many people but when you buy a package with everything paid up front, I expect no surprise charges like this. Shame on...

"Staff took care of our room every day and it felt great to return back to our room ar night with it reset and cleaned. The pool was great. We loved our view and would enjoy that same view again. I would recommend this location to anyway who wants to be on beach. That was the best part. "

"The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. Parking was easy once we found the unit. Construction in the parking lot. We moved from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom, with ground floor. 6 nights were good once we settled in. My husband has hard time with 20 stairs and carrying luggage!!! We called for help when we first got there. Staff was gracious!!! :)"

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple with fresh fruit and grab and take items. They do have a microwave. Parking was great! Loved the ocean view and easy access to restaurants, beaches and walking paths. Were disappointed with the one bathroom window that was in need of repair around the frame. It had very dark stuff around it like dirt, rust or mold(??)."
