"Hotel was upscale with very nice terrace rooms. They offered good dinning choices for breakfast lunch and dinner if you chose to stay on. The are right in the centre of the old town which offers many dinning options on all budgets. The hotel is hard to find as the old town is situated behind barriers which requires a QR code to enter which is supplied by the hotel an hour prior to arrival. But if you blink near the entrance it’s another 20 minute drive to go around again."

"Parking issues. Preferably bolt or uber to all destinations once you park at their garage which is down the hill. 10 minutes walk back to hotel. 60-70 steps up. Location is very good. Food n local vibes good. Across queen palace so many tourists around. Over all beautiful experience"

"I had no idea what to expect having never been to Sintra. Rui and the entire staff are the best! I was made to feel welcomed, the room and hotel itself are amazing and everything it advertised. I will definitely be coming back Lawrence's on my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone coming to Sintra!! A very short walk to the restaurants and shops, transportation to the palaces etc, the breakfast is amazing, the dinner was just as good, the view from my 5th floor room is outstanding and...

"This was, by far, one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The walkway was ancient, rundown, and felt downright unsafe. The rooms? Beyond outdated—borderline uninhabitable. To make matters worse, the lift was old, creaky, and felt incredibly unsafe. How this hotel ever received a rating of 8.0 is beyond comprehension. It’s shocking and unacceptable that Hotel.com would allow such a misleading rating to stand. I trusted your platform to guide me toward quality stays, but this was a complete...

"I booked this room only a few days in advance, hoping simply to be close to the airport the night before my departure from Lisbon. Hotel Roma exceeded my expectations in almost every way. I found it to be so clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I was charmed by the lobby and book exchange area. The buffet dinner and breakfast for an extra fee are a very good deal (were not included in my stay), and there are other restaurants and cafés in the neighborhood, as well as a Metro station."
