Terrible stay

We booked the hotel room through hotels.com chinese version website. We did not know that the room is eventually a share bathroom “hotel room”. Actually it was a hostel, but it mentioned itself like a hotel room. We seeked the host for help, but she said upgraded us with an additional cost per night, so we can have our private bathroom. And this is the alternative option that she offered for us. Me and my bf carried two 30 inches luggages. But the “hotel room” which was in the backyard of the house on the second floor. We have to carry the heavy luggages up on the steepy and narrow stairs, which is extremely difficult for us to walk! ( and the host did not mention before!) We stayed for 4 days 3 nights. Everynight, we could not sleep well as the air conditioner was turned off suddenly for a few times one night. The room was surrounded with horrible noise and sound which the location of the “hotel” was quiet. We talked to the host but her wordings were a bit freaking us out. As well as we are enjoying the vocationa for our honeymoon, but these 4 days really worst for us.

アクセスの良い、素敵なゲストハウスでした！ ステイしたのが週末だったため、夜中まで玄関の出入りがあってちょっと騒々しく良く眠れませんでしたが、部屋は快適そのものでした。 シャワーは混雑する時間帯があったり、マナーの悪い他のゲストが汚したりしていましたが、それはオーナーさんのせいではないので。。 またメルボルンに行くことがあればステイしたいです！ Nice and tidy guesthouse! Since I stayed during weekend, there were other guests in and out through midnight, I was disturbed sleeping in the side of entrance. But this is not the owner’s fault at all. The room is very nice and comfortable, no complaints :) Hope coming back there soon!

衛生面でのレビューがかなり良かったので予約してみました。 外観 玄関にゲストハウスの旨の看板が無かったので少し戸惑った。が、他の宿泊者もいたので何となくわかった。 宿泊中 このゲストハウスの衛生面(キッチン、トイレ、シャワー室等)は自分が今まで行った海外の宿泊先の中で最も日本に近いレベルの高さだった。 また、支配人がとてもフレンドリーなので相談しやすかったのも好印象。 駅からもちょうど良い距離なのでそこまでしんどく無かった 後、個人的に洗濯機が借りれて干す場所もあることが一番有り難かった 気になったこと トラムの最寄駅の夜は飲屋街になるので、その雰囲気があまり好きじゃない人は真夜中の徘徊は避けた方がいいかも →とは言ってもそこまで酷くは無い 総評 普通のホテルに飽きて一味違った宿泊がしてみたい！とか、なるべく安くて綺麗なところがいいな！等で迷っている人にはオススメの宿泊先だと思う 観光自体に関してもセントキルダビーチとルナパークが徒歩圏内なので◎

everything in this hotel were terrible.becarefull!

everything in this hotel were terrible,no daily cleaning,no security door,too dark to entry in our room,location area is too dark and dangerous,poor material (which was a broken tv during our stay), staff was so rule when still working and meeting underneard of our room untill i knock their door to remind them at 11pm.the floor between upstair and downstair totally slim and thin,which can hear everything from each other.all around hotel were durty and old.Of couse,i will never come back to this hotel anymore,but i wrote this comment for remind anyone booking for this hotel can advoice it,because the price is not cheap but the quality and service is terrible.

Great location for a few days, in a quite neighbourhood. The facility can not be faulted- very well thought out for every little detail. Warm, comfortable, clean. Make sure you read all the little details about check in, and security deposit process etc etc. A little painful for a simple business trip. As much as the place was fantastic it was not really suited to what I need for business travel any my fault for not reading the fine print.

I had a very pleasant stay here. The guesthouse hosts were superb! The location was absolutely perfect..walking distance to St Kilda beach and Acland street (where you can find amazing food!).

Spacious Room In St Kilda

The room is adorable and very clean. The bathroom is shared with the other guests but it is so clean that it feels you are the only one using it. The hosts are very concerned with their guests' experience. In addition St. Kilda is a fantastic location in Melbourne. The hotel is just blocks away from vibrant Acland Street.

Cosy, Clean and Friendly

Close to restaurants, Little St Kilda is in a quiet street. Room was clean and adequately stocked. Lounge area was comfortable and felt like home

Lovely staff and hotel

We stayed at the newly renovated room which has our own kitchenette and bathroom. The room was clean and staff are lovely. Location is also great as you're pretty close to everything with public transportation nearby. Highly recommended for short term stays in Melbourne.
