"Visiting Bordeaux for the first time, our host made us feel welcome and provided an excellent overview of the town, places to see, a few (very excellent) food recommendations and was available the whole stay to answer questions. Our room was perfectly prepared with everything we needed. The location made for easy walking to markets/attractions and also the tram. We had a fabulous time thanks to George’s fine hospitality."

"It definitely has an old world charm about it with modern conveniences like the bathrooms were up-to-date and spacious showers. Keep in mind if you are visiting with lots of luggage, you might have a hard time with the staircase. It’s a beautiful winding staircase, and I unfortunately brought a big heavy suitcase. "Easy to find and very convenient to Gare Saint Jean. Room was clean and well appointed. I appreciated the cold bottle of water in the room fridge. I was on the 5th floor and there was some odd noise upstairs but later I realized it must be the restaurant on the 6th floor. It did not keep me awake. I can recommend this place."
