"Great family hotel"

"A fabulous hotel spiled by a complete lack of fit and proper management when in the carriage house for a evening meal and even worse at breakfast. 1500 characters would not do justice to my complaint, when leaving breakfast i was asked how it was by a member if staff and I replied with 1 word. SHAMBLES."

"Für meinen Preis war das Hotel viel zu teuer. Die Zimmer sind massiv in die Jahre gekommen, sodass es den heutigen Standard eines 4 Sterne Hotels aus meiner Sicht nicht erfüllt. Von den Zimmern war ich sehr enttäuscht. Alleine, dass man 3 mal die Zimmerkarte neu beschreiben musste ist schon nervig. Der Service der Mitarbeiter war aber gut. Als man morgens einmal frühstücken wollte, war das Buffet nur spärlich gefüllt. So war ich es nicht gewohnt von einem 4 Sterne Hotel."

"Rooms, lodges and restaurants outstanding. Food was wonderful. Our server at the Barton Grill was brilliant! This is a 5 star property and overall lived up to that. We had an issue with vouchers that were purchased for us as a gift. One staff at the golf course was somewhat...aloft...ok, curt but rest of staff and hotel staff were great. I do feel were somewhat shorted on the vouchers and left a sour taste."

"We only stayed here for one evening on our way back from our Irish coast tour. We were surprised that the rooms were in such bad shape, because the reviews were so good. The bathroom was not in good shape, the carpet was falling apart, the water would not get hot, and the water in the shower was backfilling. "The sauna and hot tub and plastered all over the site and heavily implied they are included and you don’t find out until check in that the facilities all cost extra."

"The room was great spacious and clean the tram into the city is right outside the lobby . I found locating the property challenging as it has a small sign too mark the parkade … the building itself is nestled beside others that look similar to… use the coordinates they send otherwise no complaints !"

"Large free car park, from the outside the hotel looks somewhat dated, like a 70s school block. However inside it’s very nine, quite spacious and a nice bar restaurant (Liffey Bar) with a lunch carvery, bar menu, daily specials. Portions were huge and the food was lovely, we had lunch and dinner here twice and couldn’t fault it. Service was very good, plenty of staff and all genuinely friendly. "We booked a family room for 4 people and got doubl3 bed and very very narrow single bed. No AC and room was burning hot. It took more than an hour to rectify the situation"
