"The Carton house is about 45 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Dublin. The grounds are lovely. The walk to Town is about 30 minutes and well worth it as there are other historical sites to visit in the town. The interior of the Carton house is modern but historical features remain throughout. "There is a full kitchen available to all tenants. It is stocked with fresh eggs, milk, fresh squeezed orange juice, cereal, granola, bread for toast and much more to make mornings so pleasant! Rooms were beautiful and remodeled but still antique enough to have the old Irish feeling. Malcolm and Angela were such a joy to have as hosts. we could not have asked for a better stay, hosts, and beautiful property to walk in (gardens/open fields)"

"Brilliant hotel - so convenient, perfect for getting to the city and to areas outside of Dublin too - right next to a tram stop, a shopping centre and the parking is free (it’s the Euro Carparks Tallaght Central Carpark on Belgard Sq N). Rooms were lovely and clean, modern and had a great view of the hills, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"We arrived around 8-9pm and we left after breakfast the following morning, as we needed a base to stay after our ferry trip to Dublin, and before we embarked on our Wild Atlantic Way journey going via Blarney to Kinsale on the south coast of Ireland. We had a huge room with big windows on two sides and a comfortable bed. Plenty of plug sockets. TV. No air con and no fan, but plenty of windows to open. Lots of storage and a big bathroom.
