"Room was clean for the most part, bed was comfortable but up fairly high so it's hard for a short person like me to get into. Wifi was okay, not great, but I'm not sure if that's because I was on an upper floor. I wish the person who checked me in would have explained something, anything about the breakfast, amenities or even where the elevator is, I had to ask basic questions that should have been told to me at check in. Cleaning staff is very friendly and didn't rush me to leave. Breakfast was good, they even allowed me to get something to eat about 5 minutes before they closed everything up. Overall, not a bad stay, I have come there since and will soon and I hope the check in person talks more and explains things to other guests when they check in. I've never had a hotel not tell me about breakfast times, they usually encourage you to come there. Thanks."

"It was a very nice place. We stayed in the carriage house specifically because it had a hot tub and a little balcony. But, the balcony was not maintained. Very dirty. Could not even sit in the chairs. The room itself is very nice and comfortable. Only thing with that though is the bathroom dates back to maybe a century ago when people were smaller. I'm not a tall man at 5 ft 10 inches. But, the sink is only about 3 ft from the floor and the undersized toilet seat crowded against the wall is about 1.5 ft from the floor. Both very uncomfortable to use. In the foyer of the Carriage House is a refrigerator with water and beverages for the guests. And little bags of chips, too are available. But, they wanted you to pay a buck to take one. Really? After paying about $350/night to stay there, the want $1 for a bottle of water or a little bag of chips. That's kind of cheap and low class. They can easily comp such by putting them in them in the rooms just like hotels do. The breakfast was phenomenal."

"The hotel has a nice restaurant, bar area and outside firepit area. Everything seemed clean and neat. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I booked a room with two double beds via Expedia and received a confirmation back that the room had two double beds. When I called the hotel, however, they said there were no rooms with two double beds and instead the room had one double bed and pull-out couch with could serve as another bed if needed. I said that is not what I booked and they told me that it was a problem with Expedia and not the hotel itself."
