"This was our second visit to Maui, so we wanted to try something different; we chose something upcountry instead of on the beach this time. We will likely go back to the beach for future visits, because we really didn’t enjoy having to drive all the way back and change after spending time on the beach. "Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. On the first day, my room was not cleaned at all. The second day, I went out and came back, and it still hadn’t been cleaned. When I asked housekeeping, I was told that my room was scheduled to be cleaned around 4:00 PM. After asking several more times, someone finally came, but it shouldn’t have taken repeated requests. "Although it was just for one night, the hotel is amazing and the staff is so very helpful. The pictures on Expedia is incorrect. I requested a 2 queen bedroom. One of the pictures provided shows two queen beds and a living room, this is what I thought I was getting. Per hotel staff, picture is incorrect, they viewed the Expedia photo and apologized for the error, said the picture and description is incorrect."

"If you looking a budget stay, this is perfect. We can cook, talk to other people who stay there. Everyone were friendly and the showers were not crowded. Only part is that the bedrooms have little dust on the walls. But this is a hostel and it’s expected"

"I rented the loft penthouse and it was nice. No kitchen chairs for the table, just 2 barstools for the counter. So we ended up using the kitchen table as a catch all for out stuff when returning from the day. The kitchen has some silverware and dishes, but no actual kitchen knives to cut pineapples, etc. We were able to use the steak knife and tough cut the pineapple. My reason for the 4 stars is the bedroom and lack of privacy. They recently remodeled the bedroom and the pictures dont match its...

"Grounds were beautiful. Beach view and access great. Quality of condo was in need of refreshing. Some broken doors, and in need of repair. The condo was clean."

"This was the first time that I stayed in Kahului when on Maui, and I highly recommend this new property for travelers. It's newly constructed and the rooms and premises reflect that. My one bedroom was quite large, and I was happy with it. The breakfast buffet was an extra perk and quite generous. It is right on the waterfront and very scenic. It's great for families and large groups."

"The place was not stocked up well and the appliances like coffee machine were dirty. Things were minimally maintained abd the beach equipment was so dirty and smelly, I had yo wash the beach towels before using it and beach chairs wete all stained and smelly. But overall it was clean."

"I was informed by staff that pool was closed, and I needed to inform them to use the pool two hotels away. Also the hotel maid came pounding on my door at 9am and even opened the door (she said excuse me) but I got in around 1:30 am that morning and was told 12:00pm was check out, I really didn’t appreciate this. But other than that everything was good."

"Room was fine. The problem is there is no central AC, only a small, old window unit in the living room. No AC in bedroom, would not stay here again, might be less of an issue in the winter."
