"After a grueling walk up from the central bus stop we arrived at the hotel (take a taxi from the train station, you’ll thank me!) Getting around the hotel was a bit like Theseus going through the labyrinth but luckily no Minotaur at the end, instead a quiet and comfortable room. The breakfast was quite good with plentiful choices. Location was excellent, an easy walk to visit both St. Francis and St. Claire. We’ll be back!"

"We've had a very good experience with this stay. The property is located in an open environment with a stunning surrounding view. Sleeping in a 1300 years old, stone room was definitely a rare opportunity. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend this to friends."

It's fully committed to its chocolate theme, which makes it a little kitschy, but has an amazingly large breakfast with both sweet and savory items. It's located outside the center, so a bit of walk uphill to the center, or you could take public transport (bus or Mini-metro). The hotel has free, easy and ample parking, so it could be a great base for exploring nearby towns."
