"Pros The hotel was clean, organized and welcoming. The location was the best part. Right next to the zoo, balboa park, and walking distance to restaurants. I liked the room separation for bedtime. Cons: Parking - it wasn’t clearly stated in posting that it would be $50 a night for self park and $70 for valet. The drive way for self park is intense. It is a very tight and windy path. There were A LOT of scratches on the sides of people hitting their cars against and I felt dizzy doing that...

"Airport shuttle was wonderful - no need for Uber or taxi. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, Old Town was an easy walk from the hotel. There was a great Taco place just across the street, good food, great price."

The staff I interacted with were pleasant, but there were very few people available to assist with anything. There is no pool and actually no real amenities. The area is close to a lot and very walkable. I ordered breakfast room service one morning and it was not good and cost $100. Overall, it was just ok but I wouldn’t stay here again."
