"Our room had no soap in the shower or for the sink. There was no ice bucket. When I called the desk, she told me she couldn’t leave the desk. I went down and she found me some soap, but no ice bucket. Finally one of the floor attendants got us one. We stayed 2 days, when we’re gone for the day and came back our room was not cleaned, no new towels. I asked about this and they said I needed to request to have the room cleaned. No one told us this at check-in. I had to ask for towels since they only gave us one bath towel to begin with. The front desk staff was very unhelpful. I would not stay there again or recommend to anyone"

"When I arrived the front desk was closed and a woman and what appeared to be her family was sitting in the lobby. She had a list in her hands and told me I could not check in because her system was down and I would have to go somewhere else. There was no attempt to recommend other services in the area or allow me to use the phone. I had asked is there was a restroom I could use after traveling 6 hours to get there - she said no. While we sat in our car trying to work with Expedia to get a new hotel other patrons were arriving and leaving and she came outside to turn them away. While driving away two ladies sitting at the front door smoking flipped us the middle finger."

"Well it was a run of the mill best western nothing fancy nothing bad. Until the morning of checkout i didnt put a do not disturb sign up house keeping knocked and was coming in i quickly said he please don’t come in, and the person with house keeping was so friendly and kind about the whole situation that interaction is what set this best western above the rest."

"Breakfast wasn’t replenished until we alerted staff there wasn’t a person working in that area to anticipate the needs of travelers. "

"WHOEVER CLEANS THE PREMISES needs to be educated in how to clean the room. I cleaned the tub and bathroom before I would use it, it is still stained, a lot of grime came off but it is sanitized as well as the floor and flat surfaces. (A while back I started bringing my own cleaning supplies.) The rinsed towel tells the tale. I DO NOT USE THE BEDDING, any hotels, at least they use a mattress pad, the sheets are either stained or not clean. (I bring my own pillows and sheet to wrap up in and use my large towel underneath.) I gave it a 1 because at least this time the room does not reek of tobacco & pot. Some people are pigs & you can't help that, but the parking lot & ice/laundry room are deplorable. They aren't alone, I do not think AFFORDABLE LODGING AND CLEANLINESS CAN’T BE USED IN THE SAME SENTENCE, no matter the hotel brand.If I could find a safe parking lot to sleep in my car with my cat, I would, and save the money. .The front office texted & asked how my stay was going, It was 4 o’clock in the morning a & there had been a group of RUDE PEOPLE TALKING VERY LOUDLY &smoking just outside the room on and off since 1:30. i have driven for 10+ hours and have 8 more to go tomorrow, and will have only a few hours sleep because of the rude people. and i believe no action from the front desk, yep I called. I HAVE STAYED HERE MANY TIMES FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF ACCESS TO THE HIGHWAY AND THE McDONALDS. Time fir a change."

"This hotel looks a little bit like it's from an old horror movie. Very long dark hallways. We entered into our room and there were splatters of something running down the wall, some sort of white stains all over the bag the blow dryer was in, the bottoms if the doors were all splintered and I could not bring myself to walk barefoot on the carpet. We lifted the mattress up to check for cleanliness and found a used sleep mask. I would not stay there again."
