"This hotel has had a nice upgrade to the rooms and pool area. Clean and a fresh look. The bar and restaurant tho remain low score. The service there is terrible, the quality of food and drinks is also terrible. And the included breakfast is just not worthwhile. However the front desk folks are helpful. Seems like the hotel is just not very cohesive in working as a team. I like the hotel and I would stay again. I just eat elsewhere. Nice pool area but the drinks are awful. The place has the makings of being so much better. "

"We had a wonderful four week stay at Palmilla Sunscape in beautiful Mazatlan and would happily return. The condo itself was lovely and very functional, with all appliances in excellent working order. It truly felt like a home away from home. We especially appreciated that each bedroom had its own washroom, which made staying as a group so comfortable and convenient. The additional half washroom on the main floor was also very handy. The property manager we dealt with was absolutely amazing. Any small issues were rectified immediately, and he was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay. It made such a difference knowing support was always just a message away. The location was excellent, with easy access to Farmacia Guadalajara, Kiosko, and several great restaurants nearby. The beach was just a five-minute walk away, which made daily strolls by the ocean effortless and enjoyable. There was also convenient bus access right across the street, making it easy to explore more of Mazatlán without needing a car. The condo complex is quiet, safe, and well maintained. The pool area is beautiful and a perfect place to relax and unwind. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Palmilla Sunscape to anyone visiting Mazatlán. "

"Where to start? First let me say that Ambar are condos, not a resort so each unit is individually owned & most are managed by different property managers. Our unit was managed by GPS Hospedajes Vacacionales. I could not get access to the property, they told me to see the administator who was not there for the 1st 6 days of our week there. The security guard was also no help. Once we did get in, there were no face cloths, hand towels, bath towels, dish cloths or dish towels. There were no pillow or mattress protectors, no pillow cases and the pillows, sheets and mattress were stained and filthy. I wish I could add pictures of how disgusting the bedding was, how filthy the shower was and the general dirtiness of the place. Fortunately I had a friend in the complex who was able to loan me clean bedding, a pillow and cleaning supplies. The property mgmt company reached out on our last day there, literally waiting for a ride to the airport, to let me know how to contact them if any problems or concerns. The property mgr for my friend's unit lives in Mazatlan and checks in with their guests when the guest arrives."

"Our experience was not the best! First getting to access the property from the app was not easy. The link didn’t work. It took us about an hour to finally get it to work. The condo was nice but needs repairs, the beds and pillow were not comfortable, there were holes on walls and the main bed room AC started to leak with water. The staff were very nice and polite, unfortunately I cannot say that about the condo owners, some were rude. As far as the view of the ocean was great, easy access to the beach. Unfortunately I would not stay here again. "

"Llegamos y no estaba nuestra reservación fue algo muy desesperante no tienen personal para atender no me ayudaron en nada ellos me pedían número de cuarto no tienen oficina solo te resive el guardia una experiencia fatal no pude canselar por la aplicación lo tome como fraude cánsele mi tarjeta para que no me tomaran el pago definitivo no recomiendo para nada "
