"Hotel and staff were helpful. Hotel listed a hot tub as amenities but neglected to list it as seasonal which was disappointing as it’s the main reason our booking. Having a breakfast was a bonus but the coffee was from a machine and tepid. "

"The whole place oozed old world understated luxury, the staff were very helpful and extremely polite. The private beach was lovely, never busy (in June), and if you don't like small pebbles you can chose the decking section by the swimming pier. Would go again in an instant."

"This is an incredible hotel. The rooms are great, the mattresses are excellent, the restaurant is superb, the staff is exceptional (especially Pino). We would have loved to stay longer. It's also nicely situated close to the national park and only an hour or so from the phenomenal Maratea coastline. Highly recommend!"

"This is a unique hotel, perched on the hilltop of Montesano village. It has old charm and lots of character. Our room was spacious and with castle-themed furniture. We had a private terrace patio which was huge and offered a spectacular view across the area. The girl at the reception, Elsa, was very kind and informative. We had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel and it was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a hidden gem. Parking at the property is free."
