"This hotel is one in a million. The teams on the front desk and in the restaurant were just so very professional and welcoming. The breakfast was really delicious, and catered for every different need. We had a lovely room, the pillows were a little hard but the bed was very comfortable. "This is an INCREDIBLE hotel...from the initial communication, arranging our ground transportation, being met by Jennifer and given a history of Matera to the stunningly beautiful cave we slept in, this was a perfect place. The breakfast was beautiful and delicious. The setting of Matera is stunning. My only regret is that we only had one night there. I am already trying to plan a return trip."

"Well organized property. Beautiful pools, amenities, transept& amenities at beach. Rooms dated, tired looking, have not been renovated since in over 20 years (as per sources). Could use updated, to complement surroundings & amenities. Limited supplies in kitchen. No coffee maker, toaster. Limited utensils, sharp knives for cutting. Limited housekeeping. Room cleaned, towels changed only twice during 10 day stay."
