we booked for a week and payed the hotel based on the information given here, pictures and reviews. first experience upon check in was information that we will be transfered to a nearby place. which didn't happen then as we had lots of luggage. we got a room on the 15th floor. only two elevators for the whole building, makes it very slow for everyone. the room was dirty and bathroom even dirtier, the shower curtain had visible mildew and mold stains. the walls and doors were like paper, and everything around could be heard, partying and noise in the corridors etc. door locks didn't raise trust and there were lots of people coming and going in the building, with no check up whatsoever. the staff didn't wear clear uniforms. we asked for hot water and the price varied from 10php to 20php upon delivery to the room, which again is not very professional to try cheat for a little extra by the staff. There was a power outage on our third day, some of the fire alarms were on in the dark corridors, (some not functioning), we tried to use our room phone to call front desk, or outside number? it didn't work.. it was in the same powerline, as everything else. it should be an independent connection in case of an emergency. so in a case like this, we were on the 15th floor and started our way in the dark corridors going down, as many others.. the staff acted like nothing. we checked out that night (3/7) and are still waiting for the refund and answer for our complaint. THIS PLACE IS NO GOOD
