I had a short stay here but really enjoyed myself. The food was good, the 4 hour happy hour was awesome and the drinks delicious. I had a great experience at the spa and overall would recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice reasonable place to stay.

This is a very old building that has not been maintained… There’s mold throughout the interior of my room, as well as the paint job on the stairways and the walkways are cracked… They need some serious repair work done… The setting was nice, … the Spa employees were very nice and very proficient …the Setting was very good….

We absolutely love the quiet serene location of this resort. The staff is amazing and are there to ensure you are taken care of. The resort is beautiful and they are continuously working to update some of the older spaces post pandemic. The entertainment and local events are great! A must if you want to hear the crashing of the waves and see beautiful sunsets without the hustle and bustle of a “party” crowd. Will return as much as we can!

Location was good, lots of dining and shopping near by. Place is a little shabby, but service was excellent. They came in everyday and cleaned our room and gave fresh towels. Also had a greqt breakfast option and live music almost every night. Worth the money, but if you want upscale this is not it. Also fantastic pool, with a great ocean breeze and lovely terrace to sit on. Worth the money😊👍

Good bar and lovely to hear the waves crashing. However the hotel would have been great in its hey-day but now does not meet the standards of its competition. The bath tub drained extremely slow. Perhaps the location is rural could be the reason for its dated facilities.

Lovely resort, beautiful pool, unfortunately facilities on offer closed and limited dinning menu due to Covid-19 however very helpful & friendly staff, I will return again in future.

Bali Palms Resort - lovely
Food and service excellent! Unfortunately we found the bed very hard but otherwise the room was pleasant. Lounge chairs around pool very limited and people would put towels on chairs to hold them - sometimes for half a day - not fair 😟

Fantastic location Pleasant staff Great restaurant Needs renovations but very old Bali feel. Needs new gym, otherwise central to all shopping, massages and restaurants.

What we were offered did not match what was advertised. We knew it was a long way from Denpasar but were not aware of how run down the area was. Unfortunately it did not match what we wanted so we found a different place to stay.

Staff friendliness hit and miss. Great pool and setting. Room cleaned and maintained extremely well. Breakfast included basic but adequate. Check in/out quick process.

Needs updating. But great pool and balcony.
Nice buildings. Great location, but of course no beach. Free bus runs to sister resort, all day. Portion control at breakfast. Eggs or 1 pancake! Hilarious...have to ask for most things, but staff helpful. We deliberately chose the bigger suite. However what they don’t tell you is they include the balcony in the measurements. Well kitted out with mini kitchen. So room ended up being very small, thus, we had to live on the balcony, which was super sized. Need comfy armchair. Bed was def NOT a King...need to update room and bed size, airport run pricing and ph no on their website. Worst rain in years too, which made tiles very slippery. Need good balance. Dinners good too, great singer also. Nice places to eat near by. Water temple and water palace easy to get to. Could trim the tops of the trees close to balcony level to others near by. Then we could really see the sea.

Good value, great pool but location is poor
Great pool. The area around the pool is really lovely. Our room was fine. Could do with being redecorated but for £30 it was excellent value. The problem is the area. It is not that impresive. A busy road outside and the local beaches are not that good at all. We went off for the day. However pool was fab ( about 20 metres for swimming) and staff very friendly. We had a lovely meal in the evening around the pool, with the sea in the background which was really nice and good value.

Great location on water's edge.
We relaxed mainly in the grounds and ate at the restaurant. Food was excellent and ample servings. Entertainment good. We didn't see much of Candi Dasa as we were there only 4 days.

A Resort with plenty to offer
I enjoyed a two day break here while touring this part of the coast. While the place is showing its age, it has plenty to offer with good sized rooms full of amenities from cable TV to fully equipped kitchens. The balcony had seaviews and cool breezes and also overlooked the huge pool area. The restaurant served good meals for a good price with friendly staff.

Excellent Value For Money
Lovely room overlooking the pool. Unfortunately we visited during the wet season but the staff were always cheery and extremely polite and helpful. We have visited some hotels that just feel cold but this resort has a homely happy feel even when its raining. We did not stay long but it was memorable.

Our stay at the Bali Palms was everything we asked for. The staff was fantastic and the amenities the hotel offered was fabulous. If is a great place to just sit back and relax. If you wanted to venture out the hotel had many trips already lined up that you just needed to sign up for. If you are looking for a hotel that has easy beach access this is not the hotel for you. It is right on the beach so you can enjoy the waves and watch the sunset but for swimming enjoy the lovely pool and catch the shuttle to the beach.

very pleasant pool and breakfast area with views
Even though there were upgrades in progress disruptions to us were minimal . Our stay was most pleasant . Staff were great and everything was clean. We stayed in the studio with views of the ocean and pool and a balcony. I would recommend this choice as the out look was very nice. When the upgrades are finished it will look fresh and welcoming .

Close to beach. Super friendly staff. Nice pool.
Wifi not great. Facilities need renovations but for the price we paid - definitely worth it. Very quiet and a spectacular view.

Cant go swimming at this beach. Room was good but it was extremely hot ( ac worked poorly) and noisy ( adjecent to a very noisy street and the walls are paper thin). Restaurant and pool were great. Hotel is great for people who want to go diving.

Luxury living right on the beach
The staff went out of their way to please. We could want for nothing. The swimming pool, I think, is a 25 metre so one can do lengths if wished. We had a first floor balcony and the view and gardens are to die for.

Spent 4 nights May 2014 & our room had a great terrace balcony ...awesome view..bathroom could be updated....great pool overlooking the ocean...breakfast has 300' view.....best facial so far on Bali at the spa....staff very friendly and helpful...and shuttle service by hotel to neighboring restaurants etc. was wonderful.

The poolside bar was nice and the staff there and in the restaurant were friendly and pleasant. We did have some trouble keeping our room cool and some of the lights were not working, but it was a nice, clean room and the views were amazing.

The Most Wonderful Staff!!!
If you are for value for your dollar this is the place to stay. The staff is amazing. There is nothing they wouldn't do for you. You can not find nicer people... I just couldn't leave. I extended my stay twice. The resort is nice especially for the price but, the people are what make it special. Most of the guests that I spoke with were return visitors to Bali Palms. If your looking for somewhere to stay in Candi Dasa this is excellent value.

It was awesome the kids loved the pool my partner and I loved that we could just chill out while the kids were having fun I fully recomend this place as we can't wait to go back there.

Small resort right on the waterfront but definitely no beach here. Swimming in the sea is not possible. The restaurant/bar has a limited menu. Quality is OK - that's about the best I can say about it. There is also a strange little cafe hidden away on the ground floor. It opens at strange hours and is totally unappealing with no windows and TV blaring away. The area is quiet and remote which is a great change to Kuta/Legian. Plenty of sightseeing opportunities nearby. It rained most days we were there so there was absolutely nothing to do. We ended up leaving a day early.

Relaxing holiday
Have never been to Bali before and this was a great introduction. Met friends from another state there and spent a week relaxing and catching up. Enjoyed browsing through the (limited) shops in Candi Dasi and venturing out to the mountains to enjoy the scenery and Kuta for the bustle of the markets. Really enjoyed coming back to the resort for a swim, massage and friendly company at the evening program

Not the Bali you thought
Went diving, you don't have that option. Room and hotel were Ok, need a face lift. Staff didn't seem concerned about service and definately need hospitality training. Good deal on the room, everything felt like it was pricey.

Bali Palms relaxing and enjoyable visit
We enjoyed our 3 day stay at this Hotel. The people were very helpful and friendly. As with much of our stay the weather has been very sunny and there plenty of places to seek shelter.
