"Beautiful hotel in a great location and the staff were kind enough to let us work from the bar until our rooms were ready. Valet parking was easy. Pre-check in was fine but check in when our rooms were ready was a faff and took longer than it should have as the staff were repeating the steps completed at pre check in. My room was lovely but very noisy so windows are single pane (the hotel is a listed building) but there was what sounded like construction noise outside/nearby all night which...

"The hotel was amazing. It was clean. The room didn’t have a microwave or a fridge. I did speak to the manager. He advised me if it was small he can place it in there fridge at the back. I didn’t take there offer."

"Lovely clean room with a view and everything we needed. Lifts were a nightmare and always so busy with long waiting times so avoid peak check in / check out times!"

"The stay was great but the streaky bacon on the English breakfast was far too fatty, need to serve back bacon. The filtered coffee became to cold to soon. Not worth £24 per head. Didn’t eat mine as the maple cured fatty streaky bacon along with cool coffee pint me off"

"Didn't see the bar, great valet service bags were in the rooms by the time we checked in, staff were friendly and welcoming and rooms were lovely. Well priced for a booking we made the night before and the option to buy everything in the room + the minibar and complimentary espressos. Great hotel"

"5th floor too hot time of stay was 18 degrees outside so not due to hot weather. Provided 3 fans but did not sleep at all , no ventilation windows opened an inch and was noisy outside. Should not allow people to stay in the room as was just hot. Property very basic and not great value"

"Arrived very early got an early check-in with no problems. Very hot day but the air con in the room was amazing!. The breakfast was awesome couldn't really ask for much more choice Overall a high standard for everything. A very enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again"

"We had mixed feelings about our stay at King Street Townhouse. On the plus side, the room was lovely—beautifully designed, comfortable, and exactly the high standard you’d expect from a boutique hotel. However, the main reason we booked was for the rooftop infinity pool, which was out of action during our stay. Given this is the hotel’s flagship feature, it was a massive letdown. What made it worse was that no goodwill gesture or compensation was offered for the inconvenience."

"Good location for the arena. Friendly staff, a decent breakfast selection (though I wouldn't want to book a breakfast time, as instructed, if I was on holiday). Decent bathroom. Downsides-smallish bed, slow check in, no bedside table, outside windows absolutely filthy, slow room service."
