"Everything was perfect but the bathroom needs to be resealed as the silicon was as old and worn down but apart from that the room was lovely. Staff were wonderful and decent standard brekkie. Really close to the airport about a 10mins walk."

"The hotel is beautiful. The temperature inside the hotel is warm, considering the cold and rainy Edinburgh weather, the people cannot do enough for you, and it’s in a great location. The only problem is outside the hotel, it’s very busy because there’s the train stop right there and the bus stop but you’re centrally located so that is great.
There are always cabs outside running to take you anywhere.
The restaurant, the Number One, in the hotel, Michelin rated, is excellent.

"Wonderful hotel! Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, extremely clean rooms and very comfortable indeed. The décor is bold but actually works really well as in contrast with the old building. The rooms are much more serene in tone. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but we had some drinks in the bar which were delicious (although a little pricey!). Breakfast was excellent, huge choice and very fresh - make your own pancakes, and eggs to order were a highlight! We will definitely...

"Great hotel. The staff was amazing and helpful every step of the way. Even when we had to extend our stay by three days due to New York snow storm they handled it with ease. Location is perfect for exploring Edinburgh and at the end of the day of exploring there multiple choices close for food and libations. "

"This hotel room went beyond my expectations, the room was very spacious and clean. The toilet was amazing including a bath and a shower which definitely made my stay even better. I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel for the price paid. It was only 10 mins walk from the train station. I will definitely recommend and I will be booking here soon again. Only thing to improve: there was no fridge and there was a missing piece in our toilet sink but none of this affected our stay "
