"We reserved our room last minute off Expedia. Martin, the manager warned us of the sub-optimal accommodations left and we coaxed him into letting us stay anyway. He's a gem frankly, while the owner perhaps not so much. The cabins on the waterfront do offer a sandy beach as marketed. The pool was okay and the hot tub- yowza. Closed but also filthy dirty. "Room was very clean except for Mayflies. Breakfast was on the 3rd floor above the lobby. I am handicapped and there was 2 handicapped parking spots both taken before we got there so lots of walking /steps or crossing a full parking lot to get to lobby, breakfast or our hotel room. "We understand that some places are outdated and a little run down from time and use but this was beyond that. The room was not cleaned throughly, there was a phone but it did not work. the cord for the hair drier hanging on the wall was caked in dust from never being wiped off. The light switches also caked with gunk, a puddle of pee on the base of the toilet and some gunk that came out of the jets when we turned on the jacuzzi.
