Angela our host was very friendly and knowledgeable about her country and took her time to give us excellent advice and perspective on the area. Just fantastic."

"Azenhas do Mar Valley House is a beautiful place to stay with stunning views and the perfect location close to the scenic viewpoints and beach. The house is clean, peaceful, and incredibly charming, with lovely indoor and outdoor spaces that make it easy to fully relax and enjoy the surroundings. We loved the laid-back beachside boho vibe and would happily stay here again."

"Fantastic location; large room; large bed... ... Everything else was mediocre. Way below the quality you should expect from an expensive 4 star hotel. Breakfast was mediocre, cooked food lukewarm, pastries tasteless. Bar service at pool not existent. Difficult to get clean towels for the pool. (I am not being difficult, I have left a 5 star review to the other gotel we stayed in Lisbon) I will not go back (not at those prices)"

"The rooms were large and well decorated. The bathroom was very modern and unusual. So beautiful. The only negative I have is the parking. We had to park on a different street about 15 minutes away."

"What a great hotel and such pleasant staff. Our room was on the third floor down with an entrance to the garden. The location was great for strolling around the old town and easy to get an uber to the Pena Palace. The hotel does not have parking but there are parking spots just outside the hotel Also there are no elevators but the staff helped out by bringing our bags down 3 floors to our room. This hotel is on my list for a return visit."

"Getting to hotel was a challenge. Had to tell the police directing traffic that we were staying in the area otherwise they would diect you away. Room was big but show needed to be repaired, front desk knew and part ordered, would have been nice to know ahead of time. Water went all over the floor making it slippery. Staff were amazing and helpful. Parking is away from hotel and DOWN a steep hill. "

"Beautiful building and swimming pool a short walk up hill from the old town. The breakfast was spectacular. My room was very small with only a bed a very small table and side chair but the common areas in the hotel were spacious and empty. The staff was very nice."
