Many of the parks activities were closed and there were very few staff available to answer questions. The room was very clean and comfortable but other than a bottle of water, no tea, coffee or any other food or beverage amenities were offered in the room. The complimentary breakfast was temperature challenged but fine.

Perfect hotel room!
Beautiful Candy Party Room. Room was clean and in excellent condition. Lots of fun activities for kids. Staffs are polite and professional. Wonderful experience!!!

Economic choice for weekend getaways
Tranquil family friendly hotel in the suburb of Hong Kong. Suitable for families with a budget. Lots of activities for children and safe environment to navigate.

Strange concept hotel...not sure it really works
The hotel is difficult to get to, even though we arrived/departed from lantau Island, not Central!! The breakfast selection is very limited, and included strange options (mashed potatoes) . The room was large, mostly clean with a nice back outdoor space. Very comfortable, and great to be able to have so many beds/room options. Nice play area outdoors for the kids, and nice stroll through the garden with all the animals - but it’s a weird concept! I’m not sure what the whole park is supposed to be - we decided not to go as it seemed alot of money for nothing.

Cockroaches in Bedroom & A Very Average Breakfast
We were greeted by an amazing view of the bridge and the Ark - though a bit gimmicky - looks great in its vastness. The receptionist was nice and we were looking forward to bed. As we entered the room, a large cockroach left and I slammed the door the second it left! during unpacking, a small cockroach ran out from under the fridge and that was a HUGE shock just as we had thought we had seen enough for the night! Had a restless night as worried about more cockroaches and the flashing light from the smoke detectors was so bright!! Total of four flashing lights, 2 right above the bed! Breakfast - I didn't really enjoy it but it was so-so.

Peaceful and Nice place to stay in HKG
The stay was good. Since Ma-Wan is out of main city, there is advantages of quiet and peaceful locality with beach next door. On the downside, you are almost 1 hour away from central and shipping places. Altogether for people who want to experience peace in Hong Kong, this is a place.

Avoid this hotel unless you specifically book it to visit the associated resort/park. If you want to see Hong Kong or are in transit this hotel is very inconvenient. The biggest problem is access to the hotel which is only possible by bus or taxi. If you take a taxi you will pay an additional surge due to limited access to the highway which is the only way to and out of the hotel. In addition do not rely on the breakfast as you can only get is past 10 AM and if you are in transit this may simply be too late. Finally the rooms lack storage or desk space so you will have to keep most of your items in your bag.

Super noisy as its located in the aeroplanes' route. There is noise til mid night (every 2 mins). Staff is nice. Room is clean but the bathroom is not clean enough, especially the toilet paper holder. Air conditioner is a bit noisy.

We had no advance notice that transportation is not permitted to pull up to the hotel entrance. Without any assistance for our three suitcases and two backpacks, we had to make our way from a distant taxi stop to an elevator that took us down to a deteriorating boardwalk toward the hotel. At an entrance marked for hotel guests, we were denied entrance because we had not yet registered. Instead, we had to continue managing our own luggage uphill to a vehicle entry gate manned by a security guard who acknowledged our reservation and let us onto the property. We continued to manage our luggage further uphill to the hotel entrance, then up another elevator to the third floor registration desk, and finally to our room on the same level. No assistance was available for this 43-room hotel. Retracing our steps for departure was minimally easier as we did not have to go through the vehicle gate, but we did hve to move our luggage down a flight of stairs. There was a slide available for the luggage, but we still had to navigate back to the original elevator and then to the distant taxi stop. Hotel staff did assist by calling for a taxi to meet us at the stop. Guests should plan to carry only a backpack or carryon suitcase. Had we known what we would encounter, we would have stored our cruise luggage at a much more convenient location before arriving to spend our one night at Noah's Ark. Evening buffet food service was classy but expensive. Breakfast buffet was better.

Not bad but better service is required.
Bottle of water was not provided every day. WE had to ask the front desk for it. As a foreign traveller, I was disappointed the hotel does not has a computer to help customer to do airlines check in.
