Great location, very nice beach that they clean every morning, beautiful pool, beach towels you can exchange for clean ones as needed, and much more. If you don’t want the expensive buffet breakfast, King’s coffee shop has excellent coffees and breakfast choices and it is located on the first floor. I would definitely stay here again! "The property itself was fine. I didnt like that they left opened condiments and a water bottle in the refrigerator. Or that the sink pop up didnt work, or what looks like mold developing on the shower liner. But you get what you pay for, so it is what it is. My plane changed after booking so I had to extend my time with a late checkout, which I paid almost a whole day for to check out at 5 pm instead of 10 am. "My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay Mango Sunset and would gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Big Island. Dan, the owner, greeted us at the door with a jar full of homegrown ground coffee and helped us with our bags to our room. We stayed in the Ocean View room and it was fantastic. "Room was excellent as were the amenities. Access was easy and the cabin (Bamboo Cabin) was very quiet and extremely private. Bath Hpuse was very good as was the shared kitchen - clean, well equiped and round an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended for those wanting something off the beaten track."

"We loved the proximity to the Kona area. The manta experience was amazing. There was snorkeling, national parks, and state parks nearby that were beautiful. It was a great place to base camp. We went and did our exploring and then came back and relaxed in the pool, hot tub, and voyager 47."

"The driveway was rough. Poor condition. No sign with the apartment address visible. No AC which we knew going in. But mid- morning, no brees to keep the room cool. The apartment was locked in behind housing not letting ocean winds to flow in.So you set and sweated or sit infront of a fan to cool down. "The staff was great, the security and the morning building maintenance guy are awesome. Took care of our car and maintenance guy keeped the place up looking great. I would definitely come back to this building if I return to the Kona side. What i didn't like were the bugs that are all over the place. Specially at night. Other than that. Our experience was awesome."
