The property itself is very uniquely decorated and had so much character and charm. The staff accommodated our every need and our room (we booked a junior master) was spacious, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! "Pleasant good sized room with ensuite and comfy bed. Downstairs the bar area looked welcoming and seemed very popular. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they didn't serve breakfast but the Summer Cafe across the road was excellent. The hotel is located in the middle of Malmesbury so well positioned for exploring this delightful little town. It was also convenient for us to visit family who lived locally."

"We stayed for business and booked on the basis that it was easy to reach from the M4 and we could eat and have an early night as we had an early start the following morning. Your website clearly shows a bar and restaurant, but the owner informed us on arrival that both were now permanently closed. This meant finding another place to eat and a few mile drive, not what we wanted having driven for 4 hours that day. The owner was great, but is in the process of trying to sell the property due to personal circumstances, so it has the feel of being run at minimum level. But we were offered a cooked breakfast that was great."
