"Lovely maintained garden in bloom to walk around, modern comfortable and spacious garden rooms in newer wing. However, unfortunately proximity to the M4 means the noise of traffic is inescapable dampening the whole experience - even in the rooms where seals on windows needs improving and very loud in the garden - so no quiet relaxing if noise is an issue. Bathroom was not 100% clean in the room - toothpaste left on wash basin. Breakfast was quite average."

"This is such a delightful country pub. We loved everything about it - the location in a pretty and peaceful village, the decor, the ambiance, the quality of the food, our comfortable and cosy room and the friendly and welcoming staff. It would rate as one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. We were in the smallest bedroom, which was quite compact but decorated so beautifully and had everything we needed. Really comfortable bed and quality bedding. Compact bathroom but lovely hot shower...

"Pleasant good sized room with ensuite and comfy bed. Downstairs the bar area looked welcoming and seemed very popular. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they didn't serve breakfast but the Summer Cafe across the road was excellent. The hotel is located in the middle of Malmesbury so well positioned for exploring this delightful little town. It was also convenient for us to visit family who lived locally."

"We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Lorne House. Our room was luxurious, and the bedding was unbelievably comfortable. The thoughtful touches included an assortment of teas and coffees (including decaf), regular and oat milk, plus biscuits right in our room, made it feel extra special. The full breakfast is absolutely incredible, and able to skip lunch, only needed dinner each day.
