"Perfect solo trip!! "

"Easy check in with pleasant staff. Room was clean, tidy and spacious. This is a pretty new building by the look of it! Room was nice and warm (especially nice as it was a very cold day). Bed was comfortable with clean and high quality linen. Bathroom super clean with plenty of hot, high pressure water in the shower. Ate in the pub part for evening meal and breakfast next day. Food was excellent and decent value for money. Service was good and timely at all times, food was fresh and tasty. Would definitely consider this place to stay again."

"Lovely hotel, quiet in the suite separate from the main hotel. Good facilities- large pool and I liked there was a swim lane and general lane. Staff friendly and helpful. Little dated in the rooms but plenty of space, comfortable bed/pillows and very dark. Would recommend."

Wonderful surroundings both inside and out with plenty of parking and walks to enjoy great views from the gardens where there is plenty of outside seating if weather allows. "Overall excellent value for money. Good breakfast and the staff were really friendly. Slightly odd smell in some of the downstairs corridors - a bit like damp? The facilities were really good, loved the spa and the gym. Beautiful property. Lots of parking. Slightly confusing information on Expedia when booking re spa access as it conflicts with some of the information on the website but wasn't a problem on arrival at the hotel. Overall enjoyed our stay "

"Amazing stay"

"Everything was just perfect! My husband and I enjoyed every minute celebrating his milestone birthday. The hotel exceeded our expectations. When we arrived, we were happy to hear that we got a free upgrade to a castle suite. We stayed in Catherine Howard room which was huge, had a four poster bed and a rolled bath. There were lots of complimentary things such as sloe gin, all sorts of teas and coffees, cosmetics in the bathroom, room slippers. The gardens were pretty and well maintained. Great to see a working water fountain too. The breakfast was delicious and all the staff were very attentive."
