"Thoroughly enjoyed my 24 hours here, every staff member was super friendly and helpful.. I came very unprepared forgetting my toothbrush & phone charger but they had both covered with a smile.. was really impressed with the food (3 ladies all really enjoyed our meals), spa was nice with pool, steam, sauna and jacuzzi / hydro pool. "A nice place to get away for a bit. Was a bit disappointed that my room overlooked the scrapyard and so it was noisy at times but other than that, it was just what I needed for a couple of days. Staff were friendly and willing to help when needed."

"Good size room, very comfy bed. Staff friendly but somewhat convoluted online check in. Water pressure was low but sufficient. Sadly no breakfast on offer currently as place is being refurbished. But in spite of the issues, I will be back when I'm in the area and see what it's like after the refurb is complete."

"Large spacious homely rooms,just a few bits,showing how tired the building is with couple of squeaky door hinges leading to the bathroom and the separate cloakroom.It was brilliant to find an iron and an ironing board for self service,which was very handy.Overall a lovely homely stay!"
