"We totally enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. I can't say enough about the breakfasts. There was a buffet of lots of fresh fruit every day, a selection of cereals, and the cooked breakfasts to order were fabulous. We aren't drinkers, so we didn't go into the pub at all. Only negative (unless you are a trainspotter) is the adjacent railway line but trains are no more frequent than about one every 10 minutes and don't run through the night. "We were apprehensive after reading previous reviews, however we were positively surprised. Our family room was large and spacious and the beds very comfortable. The deco is dated but everything was clean, the staff lovely and what a view!! If you want luxury, 5* accommodation, this isn't for you.
