"I didn't realize this place is not staffed, so that was our only issue when arriving at 10am after an overnight flight with no place to store luggage. A really helpful guy at the plant store next door told us there would be a code to let us in, etc., but with no one to talk to and no way to call due to our limited data plan, it took us awhile to figure it out.
If you need to store luggage, there's a luggage storage place inside a jewelry store just a few min walk away (look up Radical Storage)...

"I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Europe in Lucerne (May 29-June 1, 2026) . The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and my room offered a beautiful view that made it a pleasure to return after a day of walking the Old Towne (about 15 minute walk from hotel). The bed was comfortable, and I especially appreciated the plentiful electrical outlets, which made it easy to keep all of my devices charged.

"Great location within walking distance of city centre. Parking garage is next door if you have a vehicle (special hotel parking rate is 25 Francs per night). Breakfast was good and staff were always pleasant. Coop right next door."

"Clean room, comfortable beds, spacious room for 4 adults, AC worked well for a European hotel during an extreme heat wave. Breakfast had a good variety. Free bus pass provided which was helpful!"
