"Although it’s slightly dated, the rooms are super clean and Amir on the front desk is super helpful and accomadating and was helpful with late check in. The price is fair and I would definitely stay again."

"Lovely stay in this friendly pub. Fantastic breakfast, plenty of choice. Staff were excellent, specially the lovely girl who worked so hard to make sure everything was OK. We were welcomed by the locals and had two days of live music in the garden. Fab weekend."

"An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months"

"We arrived at 19.00 to what we discovered were planned loud & disruptive road resurfacing works right outside starting that night for 3 weeks between 19.00-04.00 each weekday. We called the owners who had been aware and had placed a laminate of Council plans in the property info pack. But neither they nor s-y-k-e-s had informed us in advance so that we could either cancel with a refund or request a move to an alternative property which is the customer-oriented way to manage this situation. "The hotel was good but the room we has was 2 flights up with 2 very heavy fire doors. It was very hot with only a small window to a flat roof that didn't open more than 3 inches. No phone in room to communicate with reception. Nothing in the immediate area outside the hotel other than a 10 minute? very steep hill to port isaac. There was nowhere to sit and relax out of the heat other than the bar."
