"Wonderful staff. For some reason, I was assigned the handicap room.
This is a solid three star hotel. Not fancy but comfortable.
Unfortunately, not much to do around it unless you have a car.
Impressive Scotch and Single Malt collection with over 300 expressions."
"Easy to find, spacious car park. Room was huge with a fridge, kettle etc and a huge bathroom. Staff helpful, breakfast lovely. Good location for exploring highlands."
"To begin with, staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location was right across the beach, was lucky to be there when the heatwave hit, so the location was great for me.
The room (no 5) was cosy, had a fan and a fridge and both have been welcomed. Nice toiletries, from my favourite brand. The room was clean, bed was somewhat comfortable, I like hard mattresses. 😅
The room got quite hot when outside were 29 degrees, but the fan did its job.
I didn't have breakfast, I don't usually do, but I did have fish and chips and a glass of wine. The fish was fresh and the batter was amazing.
I stayed 2 extra nights and again, staff was accommodating, gave me fresh towels and more milk at my request.
The price of the room was low at that time and considering the location, it was a bargain.
I enjoyed my stay here and I would book again. 😊"
"I love the location and been staying here on and off for 20 years but just feel the price is a little steep nowdays for a single person, especially as they want to charge you extra for breakfast.
Staff are lovely and can't do enough to help you. Always clean and tidy and they are doing upgrades at the moments"
"Lovely location overlooking the coast, inside was charming although a little dated but with a bit of investment could be stunning.
Booked a room with sea view and wasn’t disappointed, room furniture old but functional, bed was clean and comfortable. Main road directly outside but very little to no noise.
The bathroom looked as though it had been modernised but was let down by a hole in the wall panelling and one side of the towel rail hanging off the wall.
Breakfast offerings pretty standard, cooked items of bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, hash browns, mushrooms etc, cereals, yoghurt, juices and hot drinks.
For a Saturday night / Sunday morning the hotel appeared quiet with only eight other people in the breakfast area.
As we were there for only one night it was just a place to sleep really so can’t be overly critical.
Lastly, the staff we encountered were all courteous, pleasant, and polite."
