"One night (Tuesday) stay after a theatre visit. Haven’t stayed at the hotel since the Ramada days and was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Obviously had been referred since we last stayed and very impressed with it room very clean, nice sized bathroom (although a little high getting in bath for a shower ok for me as I’m 6-2 but a little struggle for her who is 5-4). Bed super comfy lovely nights sleep. Nice selection of tea coffee etc. no fridge in room which was not an issue for 1 night. Staff pleasant and helpful. Didn’t eat at hotel so cannot comment. Overall Excellent 5 ⭐️ 👍"

"Sue on reception was absolutely fantastic. My only other comment is that the hotel used to have a gym and swimming pool, but these were apparently closed during the pandemic but never reopened."

" The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff were warm and friendly and will do anything to make your stay satisfying. There is ample parking,within walking distance of southport and its amenities. They do a very good value breakfast at £5 which includes a fry."

"Really nice greeting when we arrived, communication was great, as we were arriving later on in the evening. Room was clean and very quiet, so got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was continental and covered all the bases."
