"Absolutely perfect stay. Staff all amazing. From reception to spa and breakfast. Swimming pool lovely. Ample, secure parking and comfy, quiet rooms. Perfect for an overnight stay before the shuttle or ferry. Will be here again. Also very close to M&S and huge sainsbury if ypu need anything or petrol in the morning. Cannot recommended enough, we will be back."

"Not let down and convenient location for onward travel to ferry/euro tunnel. Seem to have had a problem re motorbike thefts so staff offered location directly opposite reception with cctv camera as storage area for bikes was full."

"Obviously could do with an upgrade as rooms are quite dated. However nice spot with patio doors onto the lake and everything that was needed in the room inc ceiling fan which was helpful. Breakfast ok however burger at dinner was awful."

"Staff helpful and welcoming. Excellent deal with evening meal and breakfast. Very comfy beds. Refurb going on but no problem. We were late eating due to Calais to Dover ferry customs delays but staff were obliging. Would definitely stay again"

"The property is outstanding. Absolutely outstanding. This has got to be one of my all time fav hotels. And the spa was the cherry on top. I stayed in a manor luxe room - beautiful! The staff are busy, so donโt expect anything quick. Shambolic is a good way to explain the staffing! The lady behind the bar needs customer service training. Her huffing and puffing was not appreciated when ordering drinks. Above all, even with the shambolic faulty tower style staff I loved my stay!"
