"We had such a great stay here. The location was honestly one of the best parts—it was so easy to walk to a lot of the main attractions, which made everything really convenient. There are also many restaurants right outside the hotel, so we never had to go far for a great meal. The hotel itself feels really elegant but still comfortable at the same time. Breakfast was so good—definitely something we looked forward to each morning—and there was plenty of it. One thing I loved was the little lounge area where you could grab coffee or tea anytime. Having that available 24/7 was such a nice touch, especially after a long day out. Overall, just a really lovely stay and I’d definitely come back."

"I stayed here for a family trip to London. The hotel is so close to all the tourists sites and it is right beside Victoria Train Station and only a direct 30 minute train ride from Gatwick airport. The hotel is so tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. All 3 of us loved the quality of our breakfast as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Unfortunately we did not have time to try out the gym. "

"Staff were very friendly, and the hotel very convenient before/after a flight. Rooms were clean and have great runway views if you book this type of room. Fridge was very useful too. Restaurant prices are very expensive, so we popped to M&S within the airport and stocked the fridge up with a few bits. "

"The Drey Hotel was the worst hotel I have stayed in since using Expedia to book my travel. This was my first time traveling outside the country to London, UK, and my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. When I arrived, the concierge informed me that the room I booked online was not the room I would be staying in. They said it was only a “category” room and that I would receive something similar. However, the room they gave me was far from what I had booked. I was later told that the room I reserved had been given to someone who arrived earlier than I did. I explained that I had traveled from the United States and that the time difference made my arrival later. They told me that I would receive the correct room the next day and that the manager would upgrade me in the morning. Unfortunately, no one ever came to follow up. When I went to the front desk to speak with the manager, he told me that he would not be changing my room and that the bunk beds I was given would be sufficient. His response was rude and arrogant. To make matters worse, there was no hot water for the remaining two days of my stay. Overall, the experience was a nightmare. I would like to request a refund due to the poor service and unacceptable conditions. This is my first time writing a review, but I feel it is important to be honest so that others do not experience the same treatment that I did."
