My recent seven-day business trip stay at this hotel was nothing short of a disappointment due to its extremely poor service. Firstly, the hotel failed to deliver on its promise of adequate heating as advertised on their website. Despite being in the midst of winter, my room was inadequately heated, necessitating the wearing of a down coat indoors throughout my stay. This unacceptable condition resulted in me falling ill on the final day of my trip, adding further discomfort to my journey back to the US. The thermostat was non-functioning.
Additionally, the room service was abysmal. From day one, I repeatedly informed them of the heating issue, attempting to communicate on five separate occasions during my stay. Despite my efforts, each interaction yielded no tangible solutions. Even after promises of assistance and attempts to escalate the matter, including speaking with the front desk and the manager, the situation remained unresolved. The lack of improvement led to increasingly uncomfortable conditions, culminating in both myself and my husband falling ill on the last night.
Moreover, the promises made by the manager to address the issue were empty gestures. Despite assurances of communication and resolution upon check-out, no follow-up occurred. Even after confirming our contact details, there has been no attempt to rectify the situation or provide an explanation for the subpar service experienced.
