"The welcome was lovely our room was ready early so they managed to allow using early. Which was so appreciated . Donald the manager and the team cannot do enough for you. Kyle was excellent at the bar on our first two evenings and he sorted out our room TV in minutes, after I had managed to mess it up? The food is very good particularly in the evening,we had the fish and chips on our last night . The house keeping is excellent very helpful staff and the rooms were lovely. "Bedroom and bathroom were clean! Beds weee extremely comfortable! Sitting room was an added bonus! Steve and Diane were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The eggs Benedict for breakfast was excellent. Overall, a lovely guest house with a few added, hidden touches to be experienced. A hidden gem that was a delight to experience. "

"The Lovat at Loch Ness is a charming and stylish lakeside hotel. The property has two lovely lounges, even a grand piano, and is equipped with an elevator — a thoughtful touch. Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight: besides the classic Highland Breakfast, we tried the Kedgeree (smoked haddock with curried rice and poached egg), which was absolutely delicious and a wonderful Scottish surprise. The hotel’s location in Fort Augustus adds to the experience....

"It is a great property but don’t arrive late because there is not much communication until you arrive at the property. We arrived 3pm and you pick up keys at the coffee shop that closes arround 5:30. As long you get there early you won’t have a problem. Otherwise, the property is great! Very clean and spacious. One of the nicest place we have booked. "
