"We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. We had evening dinner which was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was clean but just needs a good update, which is a shame as the hotel was a great stop off for us. The bathroom door was very small to get through and the bed was a small double. All in all a good stay."

Was able to leave luggage there ahead of check in each time as I arrived early morning on sleeper train each time. Rooms and en-suites are well presented, clean and comfortable. Only marked down in one score as hotel looks a bit grotty on exterior. "

"Beautiful view from windows. Easy walk to stores, restaurants. Free parking, but might be tough if you had a big car. Our room required an electric plug in heater, which was fine once we knew. Staff was friendly. "
