Hotel Dekat Loch Dochfour

"An absolute gem; what we'd imagined an upscale highland hotel could be. Fabulous room (we stayed in a deluxe) that had a great king bed, an outdoor private patio that was a literal breath of fresh air - with the sounds of birds in the evening, and others in the morning. Bathroom was spacious, with lovely big towels. The pub was warm, the dinner very tasty, and the breakfast (included) was healthy and fresh. This is a must for a couple looking for a quiet comfortable stay; and it's just in the...

"One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The hospitality is bar none and the experience is ethereal. You can almost image the days leading up to the battle of 1746 unfold walking through the halls and the grounds. Lots of delightful surprises I won't spoil that make the experience unique and special from music, to gardens, to the hospitality."

"Clean room, quiet location, delicious breakfast. Lovely bar. Beautiful views. I would recommend."

"Nice lodging close to Loch Ness with an on-site restaurant. Rooms are small and somewhat spartan, but the bed was comfortable and the food was good. A hairdryer was provided, but with UK electric codes not permitting outlets in bathrooms, it was difficult to find a location in the bedroom with a view of a mirror to dry my hair. I wish more UK hotels would consider this oversight!"

"We would absolutely stay here again. Not far from the city centre, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to accommodate my wife's dietary requirements and made her feel welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable and overall the property seemed quite quiet. The breakfast was consistently good and kicked off our busy days very well. Recommended!"

"Really nice people and clean room!"

"Booked this Hotel last minute after leaving our filthy room at Premier Inn East. Staff were very nice, hotel is basic but ok for a night, the carpet had a large stain which looked like spilled coffee, the radiator made a noise all night, the window wasn’t a sound deadening type and let in road traffic noise, there was a spoon and build up of dust behind the radiator. The bed was comfortable and the shower was fine."

"Everything else was good. However, the room that was given to us was very hot with poor ventilation , sweating at night and couldn’t sleep well."

"Good hotel in a central place. Easy to walk around, we enjoyed the room which was very spacious, and all in all, I do recommend it. The weak spot of this hotel is the restaurant. Breakfast was fair bit you need to come early or many items run out, and for dinner, we tried the hotel restaurant once, and then preferred different places."
