"Stayed 1st - 3rd of June. Absolutely amazing stay for our mini moon. The staff, the food, the room were all incredible. We can't wait to come back, so much so we have already pre booked a suite for our one year anniversary May 2027. Very relaxing stay just what we needed after a manic wedding weekend. "Location is great. Hote Is basic as reflected in price as well as reviews. Restaurant at hotel was terribly understaffed - only one chef. Took an hour and 20 mins for food to arrive. Secondly, there was no daily cleaning or towel change and was not mentioned clearly."

"The house is very dated, the beds were uncomfortable, the rubbish bins outside were overflowing. The listing states a hot tub and the photos show that that’s what drew us to book but upon arrival there wasn’t one ! The staff on the phone were rude when they called to complain about our parking, we wasn’t even in at the time. They didn’t even ask if everything was ok with the stay. Would I recommend it no !"

"The accommodation is tired and needs updating. The rooms are very basic and were not very clean. The bathroom needs to be completely refurbished. The staff were helpful and pleasant but overall not a pleasant stay and would not recommend staying there"

This was unsurprising, as the same man was doing the bar, reception and taking and serving food orders on our first night - no sign of anyone else! "The hotel is nice. The hotel pub is the same. And the staff is polite. The coffee machine DID NOT WORK in the room. You couldn’t even put the mug (from the hotel room not my personal one) to pour coffee in it because it is too big. In the room there are no sockets. I wanted to charge my laptop and other devices, I didn’t have where. There are two “sockets” on one side and the other of the bed STRICTLY for phone cables. Meaning you insert the cable directly.
