Lovely relaxing stay

Lovely relaxing night away. We stayed in The Doghouse. Woodfired hot tub was fab. Quiet and chilled place to be. Enjoyed a gorgeous sunset sitting on the decking. Would recommend to anyone looking to switch off completely and relax.

Relazxed retreat

Stayed at lovely dog house. Very private and comfy place for two and our little dog. Had everything you would and could need. Fire was fab. Bed really comfy. Hosts were fantastic. Will be back soon.

We had the most amazing time, we stayed in the doghouse, it had everything you needed, and mags and jenny had left some little extras which was a lovely touch. We were even lucky enough to have snow while we were there. Will definitely be booking to go back.

Amazing weekend

Found this place by chance as we were looking for somewhere near Wrexham and we were so glad we did. Loved the tranquil setting. Jenny was great and provided help when needed. We stayed in the Doghouse and loved all the little touches. The hot tub was great and we used it both days. We will absolutely be back but will stay for longer next time. Thank you

Gorgeous relaxing location with wonderful hosts

Beautiful, relaxing, remote location, Owl Lodge was gorgeous inside and out hosts were so welcoming and friendly.

Lovely peaceful escape

Great place, really cosy and rural. The indoor fire heats up the house very well, but it is a little tricky to get the hot tub hot!y advise would be that you will certainly need a lot of wood. Overall very happy with the stay and we will be back!

Second Visit

This was our second visit to The Doghouse at Faraway Follies. Our hosts Jen and Margaret had made some provisions for the pandemic that were sensible and made us feel at ease. We had a fantastic time relaxing in a beautiful setting and soaking for hours in the hot tub. We already can't wait to return.

Peaceful countryside retreat
