"Rooms are not cleaned efficiently. Booked a room, description said kitchenette. It had a refrigerator and a microwave. Nothing to cook on no dishes supplied, nothing. We stayed one night and had booked an additional night before checkout that had to cancel that reservation due to a family emergency that had come up. I have been working with the third-party to get a refund back. Manager refuses to return a phone call or an email. We Followed the policy in regards to the cancellation and they are still avoiding providing the refund or even responding to the inquiries The only thing this place had going for it was the beautiful park across the street"

"I stayed at the Canadian Inn towards the end of a six-week-long road trip, and am glad I did. The Canadian was a welcome break from cookie-cutter hotels and motels that begin to fall apart as soon as they are completed. The Canadian was built sixty years ago, and will be around for sixty more. The couple who recently bought it are fixing it up after years of mismanagement. Stay away if scratches on furniture or rust stains under a bathtub spigot irk you. Come if you appreciate windows that open, comfortable furniture, plenty of light, and genuine friendliness. Especially if you have a dog -- the property has a big, fenced dog enclosure with a fire hydrant, toys, and a picnic table. Outside the enclosure is another picnic table, and a few minutes walk away is a restaurant that embodies its motto, "Home Cookin' Done Right.""

"Didn't stay here because desk clerk said the payment from expedia was declined, although we had confirmation of our payment to ezpedia and confirmation of our reservation with the hotel. Spent nearly two hours on the phone with several different expedia agents. Finally expedia paid for us to stay at a different hotel and covered the difference in the cost of the more expensive hotel. Expedia agents were very helpful, courteous and respectful during the whole deal. It appears(according to expedia agents) there was a glitch in the hotel's computer reservation system which cost us two hours of inconvenience and frustration. "
