" Had truly memorable 7-night stay at the JW Marriott Xi’an. This new property is beautiful, and it clearly befits the JW Brand. Its location is also very good. "Le Meridien is a brand new hotel, very modern, but a bit short-staffed. It is a bit removed from the center of Xi'an, but quite close to the Terra Cotta site (ca 30 minutes), which was great for us as tourists. The breakfast was very good. We stayed in a "club" room so we had free access to the top floor lounge with a small dinner buffet and refreshments. When we checked in we found out that our room had two twin beds for the three of us, so the manager accommodated us by moving us to a king...

We came by bullet train Xi a north station, we got on the no.2 metro train and got off at Xingzheng Zhong xin station, this is a really big station, we got directed to the other side of the hotel, get of the metro and exit from C5 and the hotel is about 200 metres on the right side of the City On shopping mall. Our stay include breakfast, however if you are looking for western breakfast there aren't many...

"Booked this over Hilton, Sofitel, and a few other big name 5 stars. It was comparable in price but so many negatives. Bad pool, bad restaurants, poor service.
