"The staff (I forgot to ask his name) on the night shift (16th May) was amazing. He gave us a pack of instant noodles and some bananas, as all the dinner places around the area were closed. Very kind and useful."

"A delightful hotel in a picturesque part of Tasmania. We stayed two nights and enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds, playing pool and sitting in front of the fireplace. The hotel has a wonderful ambience and the service provided by Hugo was excellent. We would definitely stay again."

"Ok this is an old building and we should appreciate that. The room facilities were basic (the shower head leaked reducing pressure, one electrical blanket did not work and the general cleaning could be better) we thought that the continental breakfast layout could be better to reduce congestion. The breakfast was toast, cereal and limited fruit. Tea and coffee was available. The location was excellent over the road from the railway. The staircase is magnificent . "Large older style motel which appeared to be virtually fully booked however no staff on site and restaurant and bar closed. Owners directed patrons to dine at their other venue in town which only offered pub type meals which were ok but expensive ( $26 for an entre). No reception at the premises- a note on the door directed patrons to another venue in town to book in- prior notice would have been nice."

" I liked the location of the property being close to places within walking distance like the Wilderness railway. The room was neat and tidy and was generally quiet during my four-night stay. My only frustration was with the tv in the room as many a time the 'no signal' message popped up. Other than that it is a nice place to stay, and I enjoyed a Sunday dinner in their restaurant. "

"Very nice studio room - had everything one could need in a compact and comfortable space. Very nice water view and walkable for persons with reasonable ability/fitness. Otherwise very short drive to any part of Strahan. Host was very prompt in communication. Check-in and out was all incredibly easy. Be aware that studio is a carport away from multi bed cottage, and any movement of that guest’s vehicle is very noticeable. "
