"We got an ocean view room with an awesome view of the sunset. The room, the pool, the beach were all exceptional. We will stay again. The only downfall we encountered was the beach bar for breakfast. Service was very slow even though there were many employees. It took almost an hour for the food to arrive after we ordered. This happened to everyone there that morning. I informed the hotel and they promised to look into it. Just a minor hiccup in a wonderful stay"

"I recently stayed at this resort to celebrate my birthday, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! The location is absolutely perfect shopping, dining, and nightlife are all right outside the hotel, with even more fun spots just five minutes away by cab. Whether you’re into exploring the area or just want everything within walking distance, this place delivers. The hotel itself was clean, family-friendly, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. A special shoutout to Carlos, the bartender he was amazing and really helped make my birthday weekend extra special with great drinks and even better hospitality! The only downside was the mattress it was a bit too firm for our liking and left both my husband and me with some back pain. However, I really appreciated how the hotel handled it. They were quick to bring us a mattress topper, which helped a lot and showed that they genuinely care about guest comfort. All in all, I would absolutely stay at this resort again. The service, location, and atmosphere made for a memorable trip!"

"We really enjoyed the property. It was beautiful had a little ambience , and it had an old world feel. Our room was perfect for two people. We had a gorgeous view off of our balcony. The food and the restaurants and bars were amazing. We went out to other restaurants and we’re saying how we should’ve just stayed at our own place because the food at Blue beard was top-notch and as good as any place we went to eat on the island. Highly recommended by us, and the staff was very helpful and nice A great value for your money spent"

"It is right on the beach with lots of oceanview rooms. It's on the rainforest side so beautiful mountains and nice breezes. In the offseason the food options on the property are limited, but adequate. It's right near an amazing RTJ designed golf course which is beautiful. It is dark at night on that side of the island, and I was not comfortable enough to drive at night, but there is plenty of daylight to explore, then unwind at the resort in the evening. I highly recommend it and would stay there again."
