"The hotel is very tired. They told me our room was the last to be refurbished, however the main Areas were also tired. We didn't book breakfast and weren't told we could buy a coupon. We were sent to the health club, where there was just coffee and a muffin option. Bed super hard and pillows awful. Towels thin and old. We are staying 2 nights but did not get room cleaning service and new towels. It's a beautiful property and needs some TLC. It could be a beautiful place with some care...

"Easy to check in and drop of suitcases before returning hire car. Walking distance to the terminal for early flight. Bit noisy through the night/ early hours of the morning with other guests disrespecting that others may wish to sleep"

"The room was clean enough, maybe a little dated. We were on the ground floor, but on the side of the HGV parking bays and the exit road for the Services which was understandably noisy 24 hours a day. The room was unbearably hot, although there was a fan which merely moved the hot air around. The Reception was beautifully air conditioned and I considered grabbing a duvet and sleeping there! Staff were friendly and helpful. But it is what it is - a hotel at the motorway services. It does a job."
