"Lovely hotel with a lot of history which was displayed around various walls at reception, If you donā€™t mind walking up various sets of stairs to get to your room (we were on level 1) youā€™ll be fine. There werenā€™t a lot of stairs but it was ā€œwalk up a couple then down a corridor, through a door and few more steps, another corridor and other doorā€. The floors creaked also but it was an old building so canā€™t complain. Free on site parking but be aware, pigeons live in the roof of the parking area and graced us with a present! We were able to walk to all the sites we wanted to visit so it was really hardly in that respect. No meals available on site but there is a bar on site."
