"Had a lovely stay at the Savoy. Location, breakfast and cleanliness great. However, my family and I were unable to sleep well. There is no soundproofing in the building we understand it is old, but surely there is something they can do to help mitigate. In the family room, be warned that the room with the 2 single beds clearly has pipes running in the ceiling. This made for a repetitive and annoying noise across the ceiling the whole night. "Outstanding hotel, and to my mind, the most pleasant hotel stay I can think of in the British isles. Being a 15-20min walk from the town centre it might be slightly out of the way for some (I chose it for that very reason). "Had a lovely 5 night stay. Nice room, very clean. Helpful staff, everyone was very friendly and nice. There are major works going on to the outside at the quay side of the hotel(March 2026), made absolutely no difference as it was too cold to sit out anyway. "This place was head and shoulders above the Premier Inns in the UK. I use the chain for work fairly frequently and for pleasure occasionally so I have a good idea what to expect, most are OK, a few are better and a few are poor. "Nice stay, last time we stayed in a more expensive room and kind have wished we had paid the extra for that room again but the room we had was very pleasant. Beds were smaller than I remember though?"

"Room was dated, but very tidy and clean, pool facilities were okay, but in need of refurbishment. The sauna was out of order and the mini gym lacked a treadmill. We stayed in a family room, it could have done with more towel rails in the bathroom and a drying rack for when the weather is less agreeable. Otherwise, the staff were amazing and made our stay memorable and fantastic. The plentiful parking was a massive bonus, as was the included breakfast."

"Absolutely brilliant stay at SACO apartments and it won’t be the last. The apartment was perfect for what we needed as a base to visit my sister and her family for a family party. Everything was provided and the location was absolutely spot on! Just walking distance to the harbour and the shops and public transport to the rest of the island. "The room was okay but did not feel like a premium room. It felt a bit tired with a few trip hazzards i.e. lamp cable plus chipped tile in bathroom needs attention. No separate shower or non slip mat. It was difficult getting in and out of the bath. Room was not made up during our stay. However Chloe was very helpful."
