Fantastic location for a short break in St Hellier, with lovely staff. All of the staff at the Royal Yacht were amazing, they were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, lots of choice, freshly cooked eggs and no limit on how many times you went back! we also had a meal in one of the hotel restaurants, The Grill, which was amazing. The room was spotless, but, and here is why I cannot give any more than 3 stars. We booked a twin room which was on the fourth floor so we would be far enough away from the Christmas party noise, which it was, but we could not have the patio door open as we were right next to an extractor fan that was on full blast 24 hours a day, imagine trying to sleep next to a jet engine?! Also unfortunately the beds were so hard I actually had to check to see if there was a mattress on there.

The Hotel was in a very good position, rooms were clean and large, breakfast was freshly made, the hotel was very handy for the bus station and therefore the Airport, fares were 2.55 for any trip on the island

The room could do complete make over the sink was blocked the window was badly fited drafts coming through air condition unit very noise . Food v/good staff v/good . We where in the old part of the hotel on the third floor to get to our room we had to walk a flight of stairs and walk back up stairs to get the lift no lift to second floor we are o a p just to let people know who are less mobile M &M

We had a great stay at this luxury hotel in a excellent central position. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The spa is very good, offering a lovely pool and steam/ sauna rooms. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Food also excellent. Well positioned for the town and bus station. We would recommend it.

Unfortunately really disappointing return visit and definitely the last ! this hotel no longer caters for its hotel paying guests but for the hotels bar and nightclub , we stayed 3 nights and on both Friday and Saturday the dance music from mid evening in the zephyr bar then the nightclub until 2 am was not just average but utterly horrendous , neither we on 3rd floor or our parents on the fourth slept for two nights , we witnessed multiple guests complain but nothing was done, at one point an older couple who complained after Friday night and said there bed had been actually vibrating with the noise were advised by staff that whilst they acknowledged and apologies for noise it would be worse Saturday! Finally spa no longer allows guests lockers they are for hotel members ! you are asked to come down from room in room robe and slipper and if have own cosmetics for showering etc and dry closes then to leave them in a bag by side of pool ! Where they got wet ! Had to help an elderly couple on our floor navigate back from spa in lifts and corridor in wet slippers and wet robe as been told dry slippers and robes were for members! No right !

I stayed in room 426. The aircon had a mind of its own. It seemed to be set at 23 degrees which i found too hot. I could only turn it down but couldnt turn it off. As soon as the keycard was removed from the slot it would reset to blowing hot air across the room. I opened the window hoping this would turn the system off but it didnt. I assume it was autoset by the hotel. If so its too warm to sleep well. Apart from this the hotel is well located and enjoys good facilties but the hot room ruined a good nights sleep.

Very nice hotel stopped on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at this location. Very nice outdoor heated seating area I would say the place to be in the location. Very good breakfast selection with a made to order breakfast omelet to your taste a nice touch.

I asked ChatGPT to create me an itinerary for 2 days in Jersey. It listed 3 hotels and said The Royal Yacht was the cheapest out of the 3 suggested. I booked it not expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were lovely, the price included a free breakfast which was very good and the position of the hotel was ideal especially for Liberation square where the bus terminal resided. The hotel had a lovely spa and our room included robes and slippers for the spa which you normally only get with the more expensive rooms. Our stay was great.

Amazing property in a fantastic location. Rooms are varied in size and some strange shapes but overall very comfortable. The spa facilities are fantastic and definitely worth while but can not be used on check out days which is a massive shame.

The overall stay was excellent. The reason why I gave a good and not excellent was the room. The room was very clean but it was a basic room which meant the view was a small courtyard. This would have been excellent if the window could open and I could get some fresh air and it would have also been excellent if the courtyard was clean. There was a lot of dust around the window sill and the flowers in the flower boxes outside had died. This makes me sound like a fusspot but just being honest. The breakfast was amazing (coffee to weak for me but that’s personal preference) and the spa facilities were the best I’ve been to on the Island. Location is fab. If you’re after a relaxing break then this is definitely the right choice.

I can’t recommend the Royal Yacht enough. There was a feeling of luxury as soon as we walked in the door but luxury with friendliness and warmth. The staff were great, food fantastic and our room (not one of the most expensive!) was comfortable and warm. The location was central which we wanted as we were without a car so really convenient. The only drawback was the noise from traffic and night life but once in our room it was only noticeable when there was live entertainment at the hotel or nearby pubs. However, there seem to be very strict rules about music cut-off time ( 11.00p.m. ) so we wouldn't have complained. It's the advantages and disadvantages of the central location and well-controlled. We didn't have time to use the spa but the facilities looked great. We'd happily stay there again.

Positives... clean room, good size, close to shopping/ bars/restaurants/ bus station Negatives...staff couldnt be bothered to welcome on checking in or enquiring as to stay on leaving. ( reception staff indifferent and preoccupied- room staff good) NOISY nightclub until 2am. Construction site outside( ok not hotel fault but not advised) Pillows awful,breakfast tasteless and below par. We actually checked in to a hotel in St Brelade for 2 nights ( would have been 3 nights if they had space) see Golden Sands if you want good service- they mastered it. Sadly yacht club hotel more interested in noisy nightclubs than paying guests and good a night sleep
