"The grounds were beautiful and well kempt. Staff were constantly working on up keep. The food was delicious and even better than expected for an all inclusive. The drinks were average. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, only complaint about the rooms were that the bathrooms were glass along the tops of the walls so if you turn the light on at night it illuminated the whole room. Any additional requests (blankets/pillows) were quickly addressed. The pools were fantastic and not crowded and very clean. The waterslides felt as safe as possible, no gaps, attentive lifeguards and undersides were padded to prevent hitting your head in the kiddie section. Beach left something to be desired. Kind of narrow and quite rocky, we definitely felt water shoes were a necessity. But there were always shaded chairs available. Obviously out of their control but lots of sargassum 3 out of our 7 days and the last 2 days there was minimal effort to contain it (maybe because it was windy/stormy weather). Kids club was pretty lame, we didn’t do many of their activities since they seemed to take place after our bedtime but not much of a playground and no indoor area for kids to get energy out. Check in took a long time, check out was a breeze. We thoroughly enjoyed the wildlife and only once had to shoo away the coatis. we forgot to lock our sliding door one day and an animal got into our snacks. Overall we had a fantastic time and it exceeded our expectations. We would 100% return!"

"Hotel is great and staff was amazing (most of them!). We have access to a private pool and that was amazing. However, the noise/music from the pool was loud and people “reserving sun beds” was really annoying. Food was a bit repetitive for a 5* but generally good. Great to have free parking. Theatre for the shows was good and there were events organised each night. "
