Not a place to book

I couldn’t stay in the accommodation. The accommodation appeared reptile infested. It is not suitable for any human being to stay in. Only fit to habit rats and other animals. The surrounding was just too bad. I am sure nobody has ever moved in there in 2 years. It looked like a death trap. This particular place should be taken off any hotel listing.

Help yourself and stay away!!!

I booked this place because it was shown on the map of hotels.com that it is very close to the city center with the address on Melrose 3. However, the place is actually 45 minutes walk away from the city centre and not really close to anything... Furthermore they also want 250£ as deposit... I didn't feel comfortable staying there, since this is very misleading and false advertisement, and I will not walk 45 minutes at night. The place will not let me cancel. Also try to check this place out on booking, where they only have 5,4 rating out of 10... This is scam..

I’ve booked 2 Rooms in the same house for 2 nights! Both rooms are extremely horrible! The quality of the 2rooms are EVEN WORSE THAN SHARED BATHROOM 1 STAR HOSTEL Dirty, dusty, ceiling got spider, hv ugly drainage smell, extremely dark! The toilet has no mirror, very dirty. The bathroom even hv NOT USED it yet, already found the carpet next to the sink was already soaked wet n full of moulds 😫😫😫I’m soooo disappointed with Hotels.com! If Hotels.com DIDNT SCREEN the quality of their hotel partners - then WHY Hotels.com charged us 10% commission?????? I’ve complaint with hotels.com staff on the first night and told staff we DEFINITELY will NOT stay the 2nd night! And ask for refund! Hotels.com told us the house owner REFUSED TO MAKE ANY REFUND! So this is a REAL SCAM by BOTH HOTELS.com n the house owner!!!
