The bathroom needed some work: hole in the wall, outlets that didn’t work, countertop that was not fully wiped to get rid of soap rings, some regrouping needed, faucet for sink difficult to get “medium” flow, no drain stopper. But I will say that the water pressure for the shower was the best I’ve ever experienced. It could almost knock you over! We were directed to go to Entrance 1 for our room but markings on awning were faded and you couldn’t...

"Great downtown Honesdale, PA location. At check in I was told to park in the Wayne Memorial Hospital lot which is shared with the Hotel. Check in was pleasant/easy. Stairs to 2nd floor room. "The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive."
